PIPPA L'VINN'S "ZERO TOLERANCE"
Live from The Wrestling Factory, Manchester, UK.
Saturday 11 September 2010: Show Report by Mark Lockey.
Today's show: Zero Tolerance, proved to be another fantastic Ladies Wrestling event from Pippa L'Vinn's own venue,
The Wrestling Factory.
An expectant audience were treated to an exciting mixture of both Pro-Style and Mat Based Women's Wrestling.
How we were rewarded with such superb displays of talent with 12 ladies performing today,
including 4 exciting newcomers to the venue.
A special "Get Well Soon" message to the lovely Layla who was unfortunately unable to perform, due to illness.
1. Mat Based Match: 10 minute duration.
Shelby Beach v Electra:

The first match of today featured crowd favourite and show regular Shelby Beach.
The blonde bombshell made a stunning entrance wearing a blue bikini and white cowboy hat !
Her opponent - newcomer Electra, wore an amazing bright pink all in one lace style bodysuit.
Shelby cautiously sought out her opponent and soon found out that this enthusiastic debutant had immense power and strength, especially in her legwork.
A brilliant opener that set the tone for today's proceedings.
Electra was very impressive in her first bout and looks set to become a firm favourite with the regular attendees!
A 5-3 victory was very well appreciated by all.
2. Pro. Style Match: 10 minute duration.
Nikki Storm v Gail Jillette:

Nikki entered the ring first, one of 3 girls representing Scotland today.
Gail, another show newcomer, received an equally warm welcome in her traditional pro-style costume of blue leotard, tights and boots.
An initial foot stomp by Nikki let Gail know that she meant business! A series of armbars and reversals followed.
Nikki had two successive 2 counts before Gail appplied a nice take down.
Gail was on the receiving end of a couple of blows to her back and was trapped in the corner and received a knee to her chest,
before counteracting with a 2 count of her own.
Nikki continued to try and wear her plucky opponent down but, Gail, the fiery redhead, was in no mood to surrender.
Gail's determination was well appreciated by the crowd.
A late pin decided this match.
3. Mat Based Match: 15 minute duration.
Venus v Axa:

Venus took on another debut girl - Axa, both ladies in bikinis.
Another keenly contested match with crowd favourite Venus initially taking the fight to the tenacious blonde.
This closely fought encounter ended in a narrow 4-3 victory - a brilliant & sporting match !
4. Pro. Style Match: 10 minute duration.
Sarah v Danni Brooks:

Sarah, the second of today's Scottish contestants was in no mood to mess around with her Geordie opponent
- venue debutant Danni.
Sarah's heel persona was emphasised by her reluctance to shake hands with her adversary.
Danni was undeterred by Sarah's frosty approach and applied good use of her arms.
Sarah hit back and even threw in a bit of hair pulling to the mix. Rulebreaking appeared to be one of Sarah's tactics in this bout whilst Danni made huge efforts throughout.
Sarah may have tested the referee's patience but, she remains a very popular competitor with the audience.
The match was decided by a conclusive pin.
5. Mat Based Match: 10 minute duration.
April Davids v Pippa L'Vinn:

April in a black outfit sporting a new haircut, bravely took on the lady most of us come along to see; the one and only Pippa L'Vinn. Pippa -looking stunning as always in her one piece blue swimsuit- launched at April from the opening bell with brilliant use of her (gorgeous) legs. This intense and very even battle appeared to have a pattern with Pippa mainly on the offensive and April using incredible resistance, especially in some of the leg locks being expertly applied to her waist.
An initial submission by Pippa was soon equalised by Ms Davids with a spectacular takedown.
At one fall each, and all to play for; the most devastating move was saved until 30 seconds from the end of the match
with a tombstone and piledriver to bring about a very hard fought 2-1 victory.

6. Mixed Pro. Tag Match.
Celtic Tigers v Red Hot Mama's:

Pippa and Shelby certainly lived up to their titles, looking red hot in red swimsuits, tights and boots. Their male opponents - including a masked wrestler - received little support from the crowd. Perhaps there was an element of jealousy in our opinions; who of us would not love to tangle with both Pippa and Shelby !
The males were using some questionable tactics including eye rakes, justifiably receiving a public warning for their actions.
At one point Pippa was the victim of a tug of war with her opponent trying to harm her and Shelby doing her best
to pull her back towards the safety of the ropes.
A double-pin finish concluded this rare and, at times, fascinating bout.
7. Mat Based Match: 10 minute duration.
Venus v Electra:

Both making their second appearance of the day; Venus wore a figure-hugging turquoise catsuit. Her opponent,
the equally glamourous Electra, looked impressive in a leather bikini and tights.
For quite a few of us, this was the best match of the day.
A friendly bout with much mutual respect given by both girls. It was clear that the ladies were both really enjoying their encounter - they were not alone !
An outstanding match with a conclusive 3-0 victory.
One hopes a rematch is on the cards for a future show !
8. Pro. Style Match:
Lisa Fury v Carmel:

In complete contrast to the previous match, this bout featuring 2 fiery redeads with equally fiery temperaments !
Lisa from Liverpool locked up with the third Scottish girl of the day: Carmel.
Even before the match started, Lisa attempted to trip up Carmel. This pre opening bell outburst set the scene for what was to follow. Within a matter of minutes Carmel gained revenge by hurtling Lisa out of the ring.
This grudge match even developed into a catfight with neither girl giving way to the other. Carmel came close with a 2 count and Lisa received a public warning.
Lisa, undeterred, continued to do anything in her power to thwart her opponent - removing Carmel from the ring and attacking her outside it; cleverly rolling back in to beat the mandatory 10 count and going back out after her.
Carmel on two occasions managed to keep her dignity intact as Lisa was furiously pulling on the back of her trunks and tights!
This lively, enjoyable match resulted in a narrow victory by submission.
9. Pro. Style Match:
Danni Brooks v Gail Jillette

After the hot tempered previous bout, a return to a more sporting pro-style match.
Two newcomers made their return to the ring. Danni Brooks entered first to good applause from the audience, appreciative of her previous efforts.
Her opponent, Gail returned and was equally well received. This soon developed into a respectful, though competitive encounter In complete contrast to the previous match. The inventive Gail against the resolute Danni. A brilliant series of 2 count roll-ups no doubt left the referee light-headed from his attempts to follow the fast action.
A kick to the mid-section followed by a pin resolved this bout.
10. Mat Based Match: 10 minute duration.
April Davids v Axa:

Axa, again returning, looked to have her work cut out against show regular April Davids. An early tap out followed by a second submission may have made this match look like a formality for April. This was certainly not the case as Axa soon got into her stride and fought back relentlessly to equalise !
At 2 falls each this outstanding sporting contest continued to rock back and forth.
A 6-3 final scoreline resolved this very tight bout.
11. Battle Royal featuring, in order of appearance:
Danni Brooks
Nikki Storm
Sarah
Carmel
Celtic Tiger # 1
Pippa L'Vinn.
Gail Jillette
April Davids
Lisa Fury
Shelby Beach.
Celtic Tiger # 2

The final match of this wonderful show was an anything goes Battle Royal...the sole remaining lady standing in the ring after all of her opponents were thrown out either over or between the ropes, would be declared the winner.
Danni Brooks intially locked up with Nikki Storm before the other entrances were made, every minute!
Allies and enemies were formed and quickly dispersed as it was every girl for herself.
Who would emerge as the ultimate winner in this free for all display of pro style wrestling ?
Summary:
Yet another fantastic show with everything one could ask for -
