such concentration by both was shared by the audience who fell deathly silent, all of us sharing the ladies' focus on gaining the upper hand.

As the deafening silence continued from the viewing onlookers, Jenny gained a first submission.
Suzie, still strongly determined, fought back defiantly to equal the match at 1-1.

Brilliant efforts by both Europeans took the contest to its' conclusion with a narrow 2-1 victory.
A very hard fought battle, sporting and tactically superb that was much appreciated by the audience.
