The ever resilient Ms Davids resisted and
reversed the holds well, then, shouting out "this is
ridiculous".
A first submission was gained by Layla. April, undeterred by the
set back, started to gain confidence when she realised the
titanic effort that was required to thwart her adversary and won
an equalising submission, levelling the score at 1-1.
With 4 minutes remaining, a lead was
established in this epic struggle. However, controversy followed
when a 3-1 decision was awarded
but, the wrestler who was on the receiving end of the decision
claimed she was demonstrating what her opponent should have done.
A 3-1 victory concluded this match.
